I picked this house because it is perfectly normal from the outside but holding something much deeper within. It is also secluded being the only house in view, as Navidson says on pg 8 "I bought a small house in the country." It also has a porch where Navidson would drink his lemonade. The only reason I really picked it was because it looks so normal here it really could conceal a horrible history. Like the Amityville horror or some other terrible murder.

This is very close to how I pictured it in my head...this is definitely a drinking lemonade on the front porch, able to host five people, never know exactly where the kids are type of house.
I was really disturbed by the whole quintessential Suburbia lemonade drinking, 2.5 kids, Victorian house appeared in my head and then on your page. Something about the perfection always bothered, because behind the perfection there is a bigger imperfection.
The really scary thing is--I would love to live in a house like this one day....
